High School Team Competitions

Our high school team competed in major state-level events after preparing through Beyond the Board. These tournaments gave players the opportunity to test their preparation and gain experience against some of the strongest scholastic competitors in Michigan. Beyond results, these events reflected the growth and resilience our students developed throughout the years.

2026 High School Team Championship

Competing against 24 other teams at on February 28th, 2026, our team earned 2nd place, which was our best placement ever. A standout moment came from our 3rd board, Woojin Seong, who achieved a perfect score and took home a gold medal.

  4. Noah Park.

2024 High School Team Championship

On February 24th, 2024, our team competed against 20 teams and finished in 5th place, highlighting our continued growth and teamwork. One of the highlights was Noah Park on board 4, who earned a bronze medal with 3 out of 4 points.

2023 Michigan High School Team Championship

Competing against 22 teams on February 25th, 2023, our team earned 7th place, marking a strong finish for our first team competition. A standout moment came from our 1st board, Sanjana Ramesh, who earned a bronze medal with 3 out of 4 points.
